William Kerr's Borders Gin - 43% - 700mlWilliam Kerr was a botanist who became a gardener at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, London, but hails from Hawick, which is where this gin is distilled. It is made with a Carter Head still, which allows for a more gentle extraction of the botanicals. A floral nose of dried orange, coriander and juniper. The palate starts with liquorice and honeyed sweetness, developing into herbaceous notes from the coriander and cassia. A quick impressive finish.
